The debut of the Jeep Gladiator has been a rousing success. The outgoing, adventurous drivers throughout Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, and Mount Pocono continue to rave about the truck's capability and versatility. The 2022 version of the Gladiator continues to refine the model's already impressive qualities. Our Ray Price Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (CDJR) team is laying it all out for you in this 2022 Jeep Gladiator review.

As you'll see, the truck comes in many trim levels. If one particular trim jumps out to you, our staff can help you test drive it around Scranton, Tobyhanna, and surrounding areas.

2022 Gladiator: Two Engines, Yet Many Performance Options

There's a diesel and non-diesel engine you can have fitted under the hood of your Jeep Gladiator. These motors will influence performance, yet there are many more features to be taken into consideration when thinking about capability or off-roading ability.

The available engines are:

  • 3.6L V6 makes 285 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque, and can tow 7,650 pounds.
  • 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 makes 260 horsepower, 442 lb-ft of torque, and can tow 6,500 pounds.

So, what types of features are to be considered if you plan on off-roading? Just a few prominent options include:

  • Tru-Lok® electronic locking differential
  • Sway bar disconnect
  • FOX shocks
  • Rock-Trac® transfer case

The electronic locking differential allows you to maintain momentum and traction more easily on rough terrain. The sway bar disconnect improves front-wheel articulation by 30%, while the FOX aluminum-bodied 2-inch shocks easily adjust damping from on-road to off-road for premium comfort.

Finally, the transfer case is all about low-speed maneuverability as it offers 4:1 low range and an 84:1 crawl ratio.

2022 Gladiator: Enjoy Your Favorite Version of the Truck

Jeep excels at creating unique trims for each of their models, and the Gladiator is no different. Nine total offerings can be considered. You don't have to move up from the standard Sport trim to enjoy a ParkView® rear backup camera or the ability to remove the top and doors.

From there, the trims progress with the Willys Sport, Sport S, Altitude, and Willys. The Willys sees a noticeable uptick in all-terrain ability thanks to the cab rock rails, limited slip rear differential, and 32-inch mud terrain-tires.

The remaining four trims are:

  • Overland
  • Rubicon
  • Mojave
  • High Altitude

The fully loaded High Altitude is identified by features such as the signature LED headlamps, fog lamps, and taillamps, 20-inch gloss Black aluminum wheels, and interior luxuries such as quilted Nappa leather-trimmed seats with Caramel stitching plus the wrapped instrument panel bezel with caramel stitching.

Being easily able to configure the performance, style, capability, and features of your 2022 Gladiator makes the truck an easy choice for many near Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg. We have each of these iterations waiting for you in our Ray Price CDJR inventory.
