Enjoy the Performance You Prefer

How many different motors are available in the 2020 Jeep Wrangler? Well, a lot. There are three engines to consider, yet two of those engines can be tuned to deliver more efficiency. So as far as your Wrangler is concerned, you can select between five different powertrains.

The 2.0L turbo V6 can come with or without eTorque technology. While eTorque influences the efficiency, the horsepower and torque remain static and 270 and 295 lb-ft, respectively. For those seeking a diesel option, there's the 3.0L V6 which is able to generate 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque.

Lastly, there's the 3.6L V6 which does the same with or without the eTorque option that the 2.0L turbo offers. The output on this motor is a robust 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

That Legendary Off-Road Capability Remains Intact

The amount of off-roading equipment offered for the 2020 Jeep Wrangler and the precision that the brand uses to develop the 4X4 system only seems to improve with each model year.

Here's a look at the trio of 4X4 systems that you can enjoy when creating your favorite Wrangler:

  • Selec-Trac® which switches between two-wheel and four-wheel drive
  • Command-Trac® that delivers torque to all wheels for immense traction
  • Rock-Trac® featuring Tru-Lok® electronic locking front and rear differentials plus an electronic sway bar disconnect

There are plenty of other ways to ramp up the off-roading superiority of your Jeep Wrangler, too. If you want you can choose the Rubicon trim level, which we'll be discussing in the next section, as it features 33-inch all-terrain tires.

Trims for the 2020 Jeep Wrangler

People want their Jeep Wrangler to reflect their own personality and interests. To help you do this, Jeep has given the model a wide range of available trims.

The Sport trim is the standard offering, quickly followed by the Sport S. Then you have the Sahara and the fabled Rubicon after that. The Rubicon is easily one of the top choices for adventurers, as it features those massive 33-inch tires, high clearance fender flares, and more.

The rest of the trims include:

Also important to note is that each trim can come in either two-door or four-door configuration.
